ROLE
User Research, UX/UI design And Branding
Upon completion of my Google UX design course, I had the opportunity to create a conceptual user experience project. The selected prompt was to design responsive website for a public art museum to advertise exhibitions and events, provide museum information to patrons, and enable patrons to schedule visits.
Problem
After conducting user research, user accessing other sites had difficulty finding information needed when planning to go to museum, especially when it came to accessibility needs. They would be forced to call in for additional. Some users also exclaimed that most local website felt dated and abandoned. Users also felt that selected exhibitions advertised biased to the designer.

Sketched prototype
Initially, I explored a conventional website flow similar to those used by competing museums. However, after revisiting the project's goal of creating a modern, engaging experience, I decided to move away from that approach. Instead, I developed a navigation flow that allows visitors to quickly access key sections of the website, making it easier to explore exhibitions, plan their visit, and find relevant information without feeling overwhelmed.
Low-fi prototype
Refining the wireframe from sketches to digital, testing the user flow, some iterations needed to be made as the site design was relying heavily on imagery rather then being informative. Always keeping the users problem in mind,
Some changes were adding a dedicated page to get more info on the details of the exhibitions complemented with an audio recording keeping the marginalized groups in mind. My goal is to create this website into a tool that users can use to plan their trip as wells as a virtual guide when attending the museum.

Design system
to achieve consistency, scalability and efficiency by providing a single source of truth for reusable components and rules.
